665 Cricket Clubs involved, 50,000 volunteers contributed and £15million worth of investment into Club Cricket was a fantastic result from Natwest CricketForce 2005, the ECB now aim higher. Changing Rooms meets Groundforce to create the most amazing ‘can do’ philosophy. Their Aim

  1. To make NatWest CricketForce 2006 bigger and better than in 2005
  2. To improve facilities and access to facilities at recreational cricket clubs
  3. To improve the quality of playing and practicing
  4. To provide cricket clubs with some tangible benefits
  5. To get more people involved
  6. To engage and involve more Clubs, Businesses, Voluntary Sector Organisations, Local Authorities, Community Organisations inc Schools and Young Leaders
  7. To increase Membership, Sponsorship, Hire of Facilities, Income to clubs
  8. To assist the Government agenda’s for Health, Education and Crime
  9. To raise the profile of club cricket
  • The title of the next years event is NatWest CricketForce 2006
  • The main event will take place over the weekend of 8th and 9th April (if clubs cannot take part on this weekend then consider becoming involved before or after)
  • Registration will take place from mid November (the ECB will confirm exact date shortly) Once club's are registered the ECB can direct them to where they can receive help and advice. 

Finally in 2005 the ECB had 665 clubs involved, 50,000 volunteers and an investment of £15million we can’t think of any other programme that has made a bigger impact on club cricket and it’s community. In order to make the 2006 event bigger and better we need the help and commitment of you all. The ECB now have specific evidence to show the impact and they have ambassadors at many of the clubs who will promote the event on their behalf. Let’s make a real difference once again.
