Stuart Priscott joins

Chance to Shine

Devon's Cricket Development Officer Stuart Priscott joins the Cricket Foundation on the 1st January 2006 when he takes up one of their key roles as a Regional Managers with Chance to Shine.

Priscott took over from Matt Evans in January 2002 being thrown in at the deep end with the preparation of a new development plan. His involvement in the county has been extensive including the satisfactory completion and implementation of the new plan, remodeling the Board, setting up the Development Forums in the West and North, extending the county coaching for the 10/11/13 age groups and overseeing the many changes in coach education. He has been involved in ensuring that the many initiatives from the ECB such as Child welfare, ClubMark and the setting up of Focus Clubs have been accomplished. He has undertaken his duties with great skill and charm and he will be missed.

Stuart feels that the past four years have been the most enjoyable of my working life and I consider myself fortunate to have been CDO in a county with such a supportive and active board.  It has been a privilege working for the ECB and I would like to wish Devon Cricket all the very best in the future.  I am delighted that the opportunity has arisen to further my career within the family of cricket and that I will still be in regular contact with the many friends and acquaintances made over the last few years.

The Board in conjunction with the ECB are working towards the early appointment of a successor. Devon have been exceptionally fortunate in their first two officers, Matt Evans and Stuart Priscott, are are confident of a similarly successful appointment.
