 We played at Bournemouth
this afternoon, but unfortunately we came second. After being
put into bat, we struggled to 57 for 4, but rallied to 100
for 5 (Phil Bees 34, Scott Mansfield 27 not out). Henstridge
got off to a flyer and were 46 for 0 off 4 overs. The introduction
of Daniel Harris and Phil Bees (2 wickets each) changed the
game and Henstridge lost 5 wickets for 42 runs to leave then
88 for 5, but their opening bat returned and saw them safely
                    through.
We had a great day out but were disappointed that having travelled
130 miles, there was zero hospitality laid on for us. We were
not even allowed to use the changing rooms as there was a
football match on, we did manage to get in to have a shower
after the footballers had gone. The Dorset CDO had told our
captain there would be food laid on, but the guy behind the
bar said he didn't even know we were coming.

Despite all that another enjoyable adventure by Cornwood CC.
