The Under 12's continued their impressive start to this season with another convincing victory over Berkshire. Batting first they posted their third consecutive total of 200 plus. This was a real team batting performance with contributions from just about everyone. Luke Tuckett played another composed innings to make 36, another good knock from Matthew Hickey, 46, helped things along. Henry Parkin made a quickfire 39. An unbeaten 7th wicket partnership between Miles Lenygon and Matthew Thompson took the total to 222-6.Devon made quick inroads into the Berkshire batting with Alex Carr and James Toland removing the top three, Paris Pinney picked up another to leave the visitors reeling on 17-4. JJ Debenham picked up three more wickets as Berkshire were reduced to 77-8. The foot then came off the pedal as Berkshire launched an excellent rearguard action before being finally dismissed for 184 to leave Devon victors by 38 runs.
