Maer makeover for Exmouth

Exmouth CC had over 70 individual volunteers on the three days - equivalent to 120 work days. The club estimate the value of the work approached £10,000! Work included the building of a ramp to the ladies external toilet, and a new raised flower bed, completely re-decorating and spring cleaning the Pavilion, painting fencing and varnishing the benches.

Local businesses lend their support

Exmouth were extremely well supported by local businesses including Tesco, AR Developments, Leeses Skip Hire, Wilson's Paints, Devon Signs, CAP Ceilings and Partitions and Kings Garden Centre - all of whom gave equipment and work time free of charge.

Volunteers were greeted on arrival at the club with breakfast and were able to kick back and relax at the end of a hard days work with a 'very Devon' treat - a cream tea! The event saw young and old taking part including reps from Nat West Bank and ECB.
