Natwest CricketForce 2009

Early April saw 35 Devon cricket clubs take part in the nationwide scheme 'Natwest CricketForce' in a bid to prepare for the 2009 season and beyond!

NatWest CricketForce is an England and Wales Cricket Board volunteering initiative aimed at rejuvenating the nation's cricketing facilities. With enough volunteers involved to fill the Millennium Stadium it is the largest volunteer programme in British sport.

NatWest CricketForce encourages cricket supporters, their friends and families to give something back to their local community cricket club by volunteering to undertake major renovations to clubhouses and grounds.

In Devon, projects included the building of brand new sightscreens, renovation of pavilions, refurbishing toilet facilities, general preperation for the coming season and much, much more...
