Ford Park 126-5 (Johnson 40) beat Cornwood 123-8 (P Deal 41) by 5 wickets

Whitchurch 130-5 (N Probert 38 no) beat Ivybridge 123-6 (R Thomas 3-25) by 7 runs

Ivybridge 142-6 (A Tookey 66, L Thomas 34) beat Plymstock 138-1 (J Burke 71 no, J Nash 44) by 4 wickets

Whitchurch 123-7 (B Robey 3-15) beat Kingsbridge 106-7 (C Jebb 36, T Scott 3-17) by 17 runs

Plympton 137-4 (D Wrench 43) beat Plymstock 105-7 (J Dodds 3-26) by 32 runs

Whitchurch won the toss and batted first. Scoring 66 from the first 10 overs the middle order accelerated well, Nathan Probert 38 no leading the way in a total of 130-5. Ivybridge started slowly but some attacking batting led by Dale Mordaunt got Ivybridge to within 7 runs as they Whitchurch held on for a narrow victory.

 

Plymouth rattled up 188-3 thanks to a fine 97 from Chris Lock. Yelverton were dismissed without too much trouble as R Small led the way with 3-7 in a 147 run victory.

 

Ford Park chalked up their first victory against Cornwood. Cprnwood batted first with Deal and Parker putting on 35 in five overs. B Spear took two wickets to slow things down. P Deal went on to make 41 in a respectable total of 123. Ford Park also started quickly as W Johnson made an aggressive 40 to ease Ford Park home by 5 wickets with 5 overs to spare.

 

Plymstock won the toss and elected to bat which has always been the thing to do at Erme. An opening stand of 123 between Burke (71 no) and Nash (44) were the foundation of the visitors 138-1. Ivybridge replied in a steady fashion managing to keep in touch with run rate despite losing wickets. A partnership of 48 between Tookey (66 no) and Thomas (34) secured a very good win for the hosts with four balls to spare.

 

Plymstock put Plympton into bat and a solid top order performance led by David Wrench (43) took them to 137-4. Plymstcck struggled to make an impact as J Dodds finished with 3-26 as the visitors won by 32 runs.
