Third ton for Lammonby as Oxfordshire routed by 141 runs

DEVON Under-15s ended a season of highs and lows with a hefty 141-run win over Oxforshire at Seaton.

Skipper Tom Lammonby was at his devastating best with the bat again, smiting 102 to reach his third century in eight ECB County Championship games this summer - as quite remarkable achievement.

Lammonby’s latest century came off just 118 balls and included 13 fours.

Sam Maunder (41) and Kazi Szymanski (43) were the other main run-getters in a Devon total of 259 for eight.

Oxford were bowled out in the 36th over for just 118 with Bideford’s Jamie Lathwell (3-24), Lewdown spinner Leon Horn (2-7) and Torquay’s Szymanski (2-16) leading the rout with the ball.

Devon 259-8 (Lammonby 102, Maunder 41, Szymanski 43), Oxfordshire 118 (Lathwell 3-24, Horn 2-7, Szymanski 2-16).  Devon by Oxfordshire by 141 runs.
