Justin Yau's last word on winning the Premier title and beating Plympton

“It's been a fantastic finish to the season and we are so pleased to have achieved the highest ever points tally over 18 games.

We've worked really hard for this and are delighted to have won ten games on the spin. I think we have only dropped 4 points in those ten games, which is an incredible effort.

Fair play to Plympton - they pushed us hard and we were stretched in parts of the game.

Joe Thompson's innings was destructive and that's what we know he can do.

He hit the ball so cleanly and it was great to see him back to his best.

Some of the sixes he hit were as big as I've ever seen and I'm confident he will go well next year.

Matt Petherbridge was once again absolutely outstanding picking up five for 27 to finish with 33 wickets for the season.

He's had a fantastic season and matured brilliantly.

There have been vital contributions throughout the team, Mitchell Pugh with 730 runs has been a class act and with vital contributions from Matt Thompson, Max Waller, Ryan Stevenson and Sach Galhenage, we have never been short of runs.

Add to that the tally of wickets taken by Ryan (24), Max (33), Nick (15), Sach (15), Peths (33), Mitch (15) shows the amount of depth we have.

Bertie Loots and Kaz have provided vital contribution with bat and ball as well in the season.”
