Budleigh skipper White feeling positive

BUDLEIGH Salterton take on Tavistock this Saturday looking to climb further up the A Division table.

Back-to-back wins over Barton and Hatherleigh have hoisted Budleigh to fifth place.

Skipper Lloyd White said “We are starting to see some really positive cricket played.

“However, every one of us have areas to improve upon and we will continue to work hard in the coming weeks to ensure we only get better.”

Tavvy are looking for a third successive win and make just one change, recalling spinner Jamie Stephens.

“Afterwinning the last couple of games, we are feeling positive,” said skipper Shaun Daymond.

“Our batting hasn't performed at all this season and we've picked up a few wins, so it's key we improve our batting.

“If we put the runs on the board and bowl how we have, we will get results.”
