First outing ends in defeat
DEVON U15s’ first championship game ended in a five-wicket defeat against Gloucester at Barton.
A total of 105 all out - Sam Maunder was top scorer with 26 - was never going to be enough.
Bad shot selection did not help with seven of our batsmen bowled.
There were also 27 extras included in the final total.
Gloucestershire won in the 32nd over. Tom Lammonby took 2-9.
Devon 105 (S Maunder 26), Gloucester 106-5 (T Lammonby 2-9). Gloucester bt Devon by five wkts.
