Skiper Gareth Andrews made 10 at the top of the order, No one else got more than nine!

Rob Clarke, Will Heather and Hugh Stronge all bowled pressure spells.

Chudleigh had lots of bits and pieces – Ed Foreman made 14, Matt Heather 11 and Dan Britcliffe 13 – but no one really got set.

Jamie Bullock (2-25), Peter Abraham (3-11) and Jeewan DeSilva (2-12) picked p regular wickets as Chudleigh reached 59 for six in reply.

Khaliq (10) and Will Heather (20no) got Chudleigh over the line.

“In all honestly the toss was crucial and it went our way,” said Chudleigh captain Ed Foreman.

“We bowled with maturity on a helpful pitch and gave them nothing to hit.

“Our fielding was excellent and the boys gave exactly the response I wanted.

“The chase was made harder by a few bad shots and some questionable umpiring but the important thing is we got over the line.”
