E Division East - Seaton pulling away
Seaton II hold a healthy 34 point lead at the top of the E Division East table after a 98 run home win over Halberton and Sampford Peverell II. Rob Gibson top scored with 60 and Pete Lawson was going well on 35 when hamstring woe saw him retire hurt as Seaton closed on 172-6. Lawson then picked up three wickets whilst Chris Aplin, Rob Gibson and 14-year-old Tim Mitchell, each picked up a brace of wickets as the Mid Devon side were bowled out for 76.

Axminster III were unable to raise a side for the visit of Thorverton II and so concede the match and had another ten points deducted for their total.
Cullompton II would have felt at tea they had a match winning total of 278-5 on the Topsham St James score board. Dave Percy hit 108 whilst Mark Mortiboys took his tally for Cully against the Saints this season to 152 for once out with a knock of 63. Dan Williams and Simon Wooster both picked up a couple of wickets for St James who were then led to a magnificent five wicket win by a knock of 99 from Mike Tracey and one of 77 from Saad Choudhary whilst the innings that got the Saints home came from Neil Argyle who was unbeaten on 34 when the win was sealed in the final over. Paul Tippler took 4-50 for the visitors.
