CHRISTIAN Malford Cricket Club are looking for a fixture on Saturday 27 June 2015. During their tour the team will be based at The Poachers Inn, Piddletrenthide DT2 7QX and, ideally, would be looking for a game within a 20-mile radius of that location.
Rod Alcorn, Club Fixtures Secretary, describes the average age of the tour party as being around 38 years of age. The majority of their older players have played cricket at a higher standard and now only play for Christian Malford on Sundays in a blend of friendly and Sunday League fixtures.
All but one of their younger players have played junior county cricket and now play their League cricket for other Saturday teams.
