NORTH DEVON LEAGUE - WEEK 10WEEK 10 of the Farm and Cottage Holidays North Devon league was a complete wash-out with not a single ball bowled at any of the 15 scheduled matches.
For many clubs it was a first cancellation of the season, but for Division Two Lynton and Lynmouth it was a third cancellation in six outings this term and also a third wash-out for Witheridge-based Incorrigbles, also a second tier side.
Division Four side North Devon III were hit for the second time and they are the first side throughout the five divisions to have now seen off double figures of their season’s matches.
The Instonians have completed 10 of their 16 games this term.
In stark contrast North Devon II have so far played just three of 16-game Division Three campaign.
The only other sides to have played so few games this term are both in Division Five where Nomansland, who currently top the table, have played three and Heathcoat II have also played three.
